Watch out for the local law. They're great guys but carry big sticks. They will hammer you . Look for a blue pearl Street Glide. I might roll down there if the weather permits

Sunday looks like rain in Jersey, so stay dry on the ride down.....I could never understand why they have their rally in April, the rainy and cool month.....

Been there 3 times with my riding buddies for our own bike week....I recommend eating at these places while ur there....Awful Arthures in Kill Devil, Red Drum in Nags Head and Tortuga's Lie in NH...All three are on rt 12 (Virginia Dare Trail.) other places that are good as well are Pamlico jack's in NH, Fishbones Grill in Duck, and Barefoot Bernie's in Kill Devil...

U can make this vacation as exciting or as laid back as u want....Beaches there are very clean..Normal beach rental stuff is available to rent....Beach jeeps are available in Corolla beach tours into Cordorva where the wild mustangs roam....let me know if u need any info, we've become pro's down there....

Lots of riding down there. 5-0 can be nasty on Rt 168. Maintain 5 mph over max. Go to my good friend Mark place called "Lucky 12 Tavern". Really cool place!!! and be careful of the roads and SAND can be everywhere.
Also anyone looking for a really good pinstriper. "Igor" will be doing pinstripes and paint out front of "Lucky 12 Tavern" located on mile post 12 on Virginia Dare Trail (the Beach road)

Ride Safe and Enjoy the OBX

Was actually planning on being there friday and sat on bike, but had no idea about about a bike week. Been planning a ride up the entire NC coast for a while.

How much trouble is it going to be to find a motel room around Nags Head Friday night???

A lot of hotels down there. Pretty much two main roads that continue from Duck to South Nag Heads loaded with them. If hotels are full, which in past years have not, there are some really good deals on some beach cottages as well.

Good Luck and Ride Safe,

Thanks, we have about 1000 mile round trip ride planed, riding up from Little River, SC Friday. Got reservations on the cedar island ferry, and was planning on spending the night around Nags Head area. Wasn't concerned about finding a room this time of year till I read about a rally.

Thanks for the info.

Love the yellow RG btw....
