Default How to use the acces switch for LED lights, anyone know how?

I'm lookng to use my acces switch on my dash on my roadglide to run some green LED lights. Can this be done? I want it were the lights can stay on when the bike is parked and sitting(like at the bar) But my key has to be on for my acces to work. Any way of making this work the way i want?

then just wire the leds to the battery, add a switch and make sure you have a fuse on the whole deal.

that way you can shut down the bike, lock it and even set the alarm while casting puddles of light on the asphalt.

If your acc switch has power to it... should be a simple wiring job from the LED to the switch

You would be able to do this only by cutting the power feed to the switch from the ign switch or wherever and running your own power straight from the battery up to the switch

I have that on mine. Very easy. As said before run from battery direct to the switch. Include an inline fuse. Then wire to your led's...

I would recommend you forget about the Acc switch and get a remote for the LEDs. Check out Joe Florida's lights. I have installed several sets of these with the remotes and they are great lights and Joe provides excellent service.
