The Perfect Exhaust ?
I’m looking for the perfect or at least a better exhaust. I have been running Bassani true duals on my 07 RG for the past 70k after 20k they started to get extremely loud I have repacked the baffles three times with three different products including the original packing from Bassani. I ride a lot of long distance and I hate a loud pipe, hell none of my fellow riders will get near me on a road trip. I would like to find a nice deep throaty sound that will NOT get much louder over time, but still have good performance. I am looking for some input from anyone who has an exhaust that fits the bill and has had them on for over 20k. They all sound good when they are new. Thanks and I appreciate your input.

You're asking for trouble! 15 different pipe suggestions comin' up, and you won't know any more than you do now! Go to bike night, or to a dealer on a nice Saturday morning, and hear some things for yourself. For example, some guys here like Vance & Hines Monster Ovals. I hate them, for me. They're not-at-all what I want. Not even gonna tell you what I have on mine. It won't matter. Gotta hear some things for yourself.

Supertrapp SuperMegs.
These are a tunable pipe using a stacked disc diffuser system and end cap options, which can be near as loud or as quiet as the rider wants, adjustable in minutes.
Always top-rated for power and can be adjusted to enhance torque or horsepower.
...and readjusted should the motor be changed ( cams, head work etc.).
These are the mufflers used on the racing XR750 and many, many streetbikes.
While other riders have played pipe bingo, the 2/1 on my FXR has been in service since 1990, the '95 Evo Bagger and the 09 used the slip ons with stock headers.
This is the one pipe that can do it all, rather than buying a pipe that "does what it does", and that's it.
