I rarely adjust mine at all. If I ride two up (rarely) or am loaded for a trip I don't notice that much of a difference to worry about it. The Ohlins 3-3's and fabrik8er modded Ricor Intiminators are the two best mods I have made to my bike.

Howard just built me a set of Ohlins's 3-3's for my wife's Sportster that are phenomenal. The guys at my local Harley dealer can't believe that a Sportster can ride that well with just a shock change.

 

I sent the day Monday with Howard. Howard had set up rear ohlins 6 months ago so it was time for the front. He modified my 2011 road king front forks with new springs, race tech valves and modified the internal valuing by welding and grinding various areas. The bike rides or should say tracks unlike any Harley I have ever ridden. The small bumps, tar snakes and wollow are gone. The drive is gone.....it tracks like a sport bike.
He answered all my questions which took a lot of time and effort. Was very fair with the bill for time and parts.
The the set up is key on suspension so do yourself a favor - Howard in a wizard of Harley suspension, true craftsman and a good fair person to deal with. I rate him five stars - Out of five.

 

All these unintended consequences! I have Fab's Intiminators as well and am working my way towards the front of the bike to install them. Love my Ohlins so much I took them off the bike and cleaned them yesterday! They look like new again.
