Bars first, then re-evaluate the setup. You may decide you like the seat. But most likely you will want to change bars. The shield, whenever.

That's it!

Always do the seat first. A seat that moves you up, down or back will change how the bars feel. Even the windshield can be affected by this, especially if you want to look just over the top of the shield.

6'-5" 235lbs here. Seat first FOR SURE, bars next (if still necessary, weren't for me after a custom Corbin), then windshield.

Definately do the Windshield last. The windshield is in a fixed position & works exactly the same each time reagrdless as to the person sitting behind it.

My vote is Seat, Bars then Shield.

Yeah seat, bars then shield. I haven’t even taken delivery of my 12 street glide yet and I will be getting a seat this next week then bars are next. After that I might get a new shield if I even need one.

Look at the Mustang seats, they are almost like riding on air. After the new seat is on and you find your spot, measure for the bars, I like Wild 1 chubbs. After those are said and done, the windshield can be changed.

Any suggestions on where I should start?
I'm 6'2 and just did these exact mods...went with a c&c seat first...then got my PYO classic bagger apes, then the LRS 9 inch ultra shield. I felt I needed seat first to choose the second two. I think bars before shield cuz bars can effect you leaning forward or back a little and maybe change shells height a hair...but with Shields coming in inch increments, its not hard to have something adjust you an inch.
