Question mufflers mods

I recently picked up a set of 80483-06 mufflers. They are too quiet for my taste. Can these be re-baffled or drilled out. Not wanting them wide open, just more sound. Thanks, Roy

Still looking for some ideas here. Help, my King sounds like a Honda.

I sent my stock mufflers(2010 Ultra)to American Custom. They drilled out the mufflers and installed their short baffles(removable). I wanted more sound, so I drilled 5/16" holes until I got the sound I wanted. It was a no-brainer to me. Good luck.

have driven a long punch or screw driver down the middle before on some mufflers to knock out the center plug , makes them flow alittle better

That's probably the best plan. I made the mistake of taking the baffles out of my stock mufflers. Bad idea. They were damned obnoxious and I lost a ton of torque. I made my own to compensate but I should have sent them to American Custom in the beginning.

Looked at the American Custom site. They don't do pre 07 mufflers. katobird, where or what do I drill, or is that political humor?

Default Rush slipons

I have a 2012 Ultra Limited and had 1.75 " slipon rush.. Now I am told that it needs a super tuner, dyno, stage one to get it back in compliance with the warranty.. Any ideas ? If a super tuner is put on it and shows nothing needs done, is it necessary to dyno it or is the dealer just trying to get another $400 out of me ? Also does it need a stage one air cleaner ?

After my de-catting the headpipe, SE a/c, and American Custom muffler mod, I ordered a PC V from Fuel Moto. Told them what mods I had, and they mapped it accordingly. It has been perfect. Performance is much better and MPG runs 43-46. Dyno is only as good as the operator, sadly, not very many of those.
