That's cause your bell bottom pants and platform disco shoes provided more stability than shorts and sandals, like guys wear today. :icon_laugh: |

Newbie really looking for a real answer here, please. this sounds really dangerous if it occurs like this.

Drain plug from oil pan not fully tightened, then
dumping remaining oil in front of / under rear wheel .....IDFK !!!!! Maybe the butt leakage was too much and he slid off the seat.... then the bike hits a tree. I still DFK !!!! OK, back to my gin and tonic |

I have a 2007 Road King (or had)....coming home from work it started to wobble and increased as I proceeded up the road to pull over....I lost control of the bike causing me to slide, striking a tree. Damages were severe and they totalled the bike....I believe it was a fluid leak and the seals failed. My insurance has doubled because of the accident and I have asked for a hearing to dispute it....has anyone ever heard of this happening and have any suggestions...no help on either part of bike shop or insurance company

would it make a difference with the insurance company if the problem was mechanical break down???

This is a bull shit post. Let it die. Funny how he "hit a tree" and didn't make a single comment on damage to his own ass.
