Go to the auto parts store and get a "Speed bleader" for the rear caliper. Makes life easer when you bleed em. If you have Dot 3 or Dot 4 be carefull cause it will eat up the paint!
Install it, connect it up and bleed it the normal way. Last time I did it my rear brake was firm in just a few attempts. If you hit problems persistence and patience pays! There are tips in the HDF DIY forum. I have several bleeding tools, each claiming to perform miracles, but I have had mixed success with them.
