Lightbulb Trying to get something positive from just plain bad luck!

My dear friend rear ended me on the Parkway Sat but now i'm in the fixin mode.
My bags is scratched on the right side but instead of replacing it I'm thinking of getting bag extensions to cover it up. Cheaper? don't know.
Rear fender toast along with all the lights, so cvo fender replacement, maybe.
Pullback handle bars bent, replacement? Suggestions please.
Both mufflers are toast also, thinking of doing something different. Had V&H's Twin Slash Monster Ovals, sounded great but thinking about a different tone. Freedom Performance race muffler, 4" Stouts and Monster rounds are in the running.

Look this over and see what you think and any suggestions is welcome.

A word of advice...............even though its a dear friend, don't cheap out and cover anything up. His/her insurance will cover the replacement costs. Trying to cheap out to help a friend is how friends get lost. Just sayin'

What was your buddy drivin'/Riding? If it was another tourer maybe you could just swap parts?
Dawg is right about insurance... You might say someone rear ended you at the mall....Buddy could pick-up deductible..and a few beers....

We both have the same insurance company but it will be filled under there policy. Not going to cheap out in any way, on the contrary I'm trying to figure how to step up with some other parts like the SE fender with bag extensions. Again not going to cut any corners what so ever just thinking thinking of modding a little, know what I mean.

Hope both are ok...nobody hurt but egos.......take it to dealer for estimate for stock replacement then get prices for cvo stuff to see if its cost prohibitive.Ins company should pick up costs minus a deductible as a single check.Say stock is 2000.00...cvo is 3000.00.you eat whats left from that check. So spend wisely .

Well the estimate is back, $5810.62 . About what I figured though. Looks like I might be able to do what I had hoped to do. I might get the inner fairing painted at the same time as well.
