Default Extended bags

OK, so I got the itch for some extended saddle bags. I admit to being finicky so the way they mate up to the stock fender and the rear fascia is important to me. Can you guys give me some pix from the rear of the bike showing how they mate up. I don't think I want to go the replacement fender route just the bags. Name of manufacturer and bag length would help. Thanks!

5" bags from Fairing Factory. I didn't want to spend the money on a fender either, but thought the rear would look kinda goofy without a fender. I found this fender cover from Gator Boxes. $375. The stock fender's still on the bike. 2 different companies. They match up great. The rear pic is when I had High Outputs slip-ons. I now have Rush Big Louie slash-ups to match the lines of the bags, in the side pic. Doesn't really answer your question, but just letting you know about the fender cover in case you can do the $375.

I went with VTwin CVO bag bottoms from Eastern. The least expensive way out and I didn't want to mess with the fender either. I'm happy with the look.

I'm on the same boat & just bought a set of factory plus 4" bags still waiting to be delivered, plus I've been calling shops to get it painted its going to cost anywhere from $600 - $800. And when this fender extension come out I'm getting this set up... http://www.arlenness.com/pc_product_...27DB1A3FAE1693

4.5" new style- top shop bags. Stock fender. Purchased color matched from factory match. About 3 weeks to get them. Great fit and finish.

I've been looking at some from the Fairings Plus. In the description it mentions that the heat shield and some other parts come with the fender and not the bags. Do the extended bags need a heat shield where they wrap the exhaust?

I love the look of the bags over the pipes. I have a 2008 FLHT that I would love to put 5" bags on. Where did you get the Fairing Factory Bags? What year is your bike? Trying find fenders for the older bikes is harder that the newer that still lets you use the docking hardware. Do you know if Fairing Factory makes side covers that goes with the stretch bags and the stretch shrouds for the gas tanks? Any info would be great Thanks
