Default 7" windsplitter or 7" HD standard windshield?

So which of these two shields gives the best wind/buffeting protection on my SG?
I currently have a LRS 7" Ultra and it does a good job but I want a shield made of better material.
I don't want any more aftermarket shield so please let's keep the opinions centered on the two shields I asked about.
Thanks

the wallet says that you can cut a stock windscreen down with a roto zip or jig/coping saw.

cut the bottom, hidden edge.

easy and cheap.

and when the weather is crap and you have to tuck into it, you can see through it -unlike a "recurve" style

Ask if they have demo models. Many dealers stock a selection of sizes and styles that you install on your bike and go for a spin. I tried a couple of heights before going with an 8" screen on my FLHTK. You will find more distortion with the wind splitter but it will reduce buffeting.

I tried them both on my SG... the wind splitter was my best choice, but it didn't cure the buffeting. It was better thou...

I tried my buddy's 7" windsplitter and it was horrible. My glasses wanted to blow off my face at anything above 45mph!
