Got the front & rears installed today, just the LED set not the run/brake with controller set. Other than the lens being a @#$% to get snapped back on, very simple. But... a couple of small issues...

1- When turning on the blinker either L or R, I get a normal flash several times then it goes to fast flashing.

2- When I do the emergency flashers, it works fine but they wont shut off... turned ignition & motor off with no change. Ended up having to disconnect the battery to stop the flashing. Tried several times w/ same result.

I got these tru my local shop (discount) & the Drag Spec book calls these LEDs plug & play which in essence they are. The CD website says that if I have an alarm system, which I do, I might have to get a load equalizer... which I dont have.

I did call CD but the customer service line was already closed for the day.

So if you have any ideas on this, please chime in....

 

You can get away with installing them in just one end of the bike without a load equalizer but not both front and back. Simple answer: you need a load equalizer.

 

Yep, what MontyCop05 said. I went full LED on all lights on my '05. Headlight, taillight, turn signals and front driving light. A bit pricey, but I can see, and be seen. (I also added a set of hidden horns so I can be heard!)
