Default Its broke and Im broke

Just discovered a cracked stock Y pipe on my 06 Ultra. I have searched and read some on this subject, but my question is should i have it welded? Maybe put on a take off and what should I pay for a take off Y pipe. Any other options I have not thought of?

I welded mine the other day. If it cracks again I'll weld a patch over it.

Lots of us have used that excuse to upgrade to true duals. Better sound, and just a little more $.

Think this was a defective design from the motor company.

I have the same bike and a no longer used stock exhaust system (i now have Dresser Duals) you pay shipping and it's yours.

I actually have that pipe sitting in my basement with no crack. I don't know what it would cost ya but I would let you have it if you'd pay for shipping. It isn't doing me any good. Just a thought. But, (Always a but) I would take this time to fix the main problem and replace. I also think Fullsak has a conversion to do away with the y in the pipe and make it tru duals for just a little over $130 I think, just another option. Go to there web site and check them out.

I got a set of stock head pipes that came off a 2007 Road King CVO you can have if you pay shipping. Not sure if they will fit your bike since they came off a 110 SE...but you can check.
I do not mind packing them up for you. Exhaust sheilds included.
