Default Redline Power Pack

I ordered the Redline Power Pack that includes;

5 quarts of 20W50 Motorcycle Oil, 1 quart of V-Twin Transmission Oil with ShockProof, 1 quart of Primary Chain Case Oil, 1 bottle of Fuel Injection Cleaner for Motorcycles, a sticker kit, a Red Line Oil embroidered hat, and a versatile funnel

Did all of the changes last night, added 3 qts of engine oil, 1 qt tranny (boy this stuff is THICK) and 1 qt primary while still level on lift. On the primary of could not tell if the oil was at the bottom of the basket but buttoned it all up and thought I would do some research to see if I need to add more before riding but they only include 1 in the kit. Dropped the bike down on the side stand and started for about 30 secounds then checked the engine oil level. Repeated this until it was full and ended up taking the entire 4th qrt even though I have read that it should only take 3.5 even with a filter change....

So back to the primary, only 1 qrt in and have 1 qrt of the engine oil (20W50) left from the kit. Can I add 6 more ounces of the 20W50 or do I need to go buy another bottle of the primary oil? The reason I ask is that I know HD uses the regular synthetic in the primary but not sure if it will be ok to mix it?

Thanks in advance for the help.

do not mix products.

the primary usually takes about 38 to 40 ounces. we all have a 2/3 full quart bottle of primary fluid in the garage

maybe redline should nix the sticker and hat and provide the required quantity of products in their kit--- sounds like the marketing guys thought up that one

I put in 6 oz of 20w50 in the primary to fill it up when I did mine.

I do agree with mkguitar that I think Redline can save the hat and sticker and send the right amount of oil for the primary.

Don't mix them. Buy another quart. I bet your transmission fluid is low too. Mine took about 38 oz.

Why would the tranny be low? Called for 1 qrt and checked level on lift and it was perfect on the stick?

Why do you say the kit is a joke? I have used it a few times now and plan on getting it for the next change.

How is it a joke? Everything in one box. All you need to add is an extra quart of primary oil (that you only have to buy once and you will have some for the next change) and a filter and you're all set.

And, I always have a ball cap in my saddlebag too!

Not sure to do with all these funnels tho....
