Default Indian Summer

Here in Ohio it's looking like the last nice AND warm riding day has passed. I was lucky enough to get out a couple of days this week and went through a few tanks of fuel riding around different parts of Ohio enjoying the weather and the fall colors. I'm ready for Spring already.

Yes, it was a great week here in cincinnati and I was also able to put a few hundred miles on the bike. Maybe a couple days here and there but I agree, is it spring yet?

It was nice in Michigan too but I'm on crutches for another week.
Hopefully I can get a couple of rides in before the snow flies.

Definitely a beautiful, though windy day here in my neck of the woods.

I chopped and blew leaves off of my lawn for about 4 hours today and I swallowed quite a bit of dust in the process.

About 2:30PM I tosses in the towel, took a quick shower and hopped on the bike for what I believe was probably my last ride of this season.

After a good ride with some folks who was giving a super nice lady her first ride on a Harley (for her bucket list) and then going to a really nice "biker bar" for a drink I cut away from the bunch and looped by my local watering hole to buy the regular bikes a last beer of the season.
To my surprise, the bar was closed apparently due to a power an easrly morning power failure.
Oh well, on to the gas station and filled the gas tank.
I'll put some Seafoam in the tank and give it a good cleaning one day next week or the next warmER day we have.

I really feel sorry for you. Here in Texas we can ride all year round. My brother lives in Canton. But. He don't ride. I think my life is better than both of ya'll. BooYah.

Here in New England their talking about a Frankenstorm coming, a snow storm hurricane!!
lol
Should be good fun if it gets this far, I guess it is supposed to be 700 miles wide as it hits NJ and we are about 3 hours from there so we will see, might be the end of the riding season for a while in these parts.
Last year on Halloween we got a pretty good freak snow storm, quite a bit fell and that is unusual for this time of year, sometimes it if JAn or Feb before it snows.

Anyway enjoy the weather while you can.

October 2011's monster snowstorm dumped more than two feet (61 cm) of snow in some areas, killed at least 12 people and cut power to more than 3 million customers across the region, including the worst outages in Connecticut history.

Oct 25 (Reuters) - New Englanders expressed disbelief on Thursday that Hurricane Sandy might produce a freak storm like last year's "Snowtober," which ruined Halloween, knocked out power and paralyzed the region for weeks.

I for one am not done riding in Michigan. I've ridden in every month since Feb 2011, and it would have been much further back than that were it not for the fact that I was out of town when it was warm in January.

I'm keepin the streak alive!

Expecting one more good day here in upstate NY. Went for a ride last night after work and expect to do the same tonight. Not much daylight left and there's those pesky deer on the roads. Rides are short but it sure feels good to get out there. I hate winter!

About the same here in PA. Have had a great week of riding. Today the bike is at work again. Love it. But past tonight??? Talking about this crazy perfect storm thing. So I will prolly take the bike to my buddies house for storage. He's got a huge garage and 2 HD's so mine makes 3 in his garage. Nice place...and he's a great guy to offer me the space for the bike.

Been a great season that started out in March. WOW, time files but at least I was able to put on a lot of miles.

Peace-out...
