107 or 117????
107 from fuel moto seems to be the hot ticket if you are watching your budget. Just new pistons, juggs, tuner and slip on's get the job done.
117 requires much more financial committment, as so many other parts need to be upgraded to function properly.
It is the longer stroke that makes it more complicated and expensive for 117.

A well built 107" is good but having to do it over (which I did) I'd always go as big as possible and a 117" is perfect for the street. You already have the crank done which is half the battle! You'll need to have the cases bored to accept the larger pistons and cylinders. DON'T do it twice. Do it once and be done with it.
A built 117" will cost probably $6-7k for the motor to be done right-complete. You'll need bigger TB and injectors. Not familiar with the pipes but worse case they choke the motor a bit and cost you power.
The other alternative is a massaged 120R. Pull one motor out put the other in and still have your motor to sell for a grand or keep.
120R-$4800
Heads-$750
Crank-$1100
Pushrods, lifters, cams-$700
So about $7500 and you should net 140HP all day long reliably.
Either way add four to five hundred for a good clutch.
Personally I'd do the 120. It's just way easier, less complicated and the same money.

i have another question. i found a good deal on a set of 117 pistons and cylinders a guy bought and ended not using. how would my 555 woods and fuel moto level b heads perform with this? I dont see being able to swing a full build anytime soon but would hate to have my bottom end work done and not get cases bored. i can always add to the topend of motor as time goes on but bottom is kinda one shot deal
