Are the grips with the Throttle Boss worth the extra cost, do they help? Need new grips and would be nice to have something that helps on long rides (400 miles).

 

Love the throttle boss. Makes cruising down the hwy so much more enjoyable.

You no longer need to grip the grip. You can just lay your hand over the grip, and the fleshy part of your palm does all the work.

It can be micro adjusted, so it feels just right for you.

Only costs a couple bucks, and if you don't like it, it is easily removed.

New Street glide came with nice Harley grips, and cruise control, but I still miss my throttle boss.

 

The throttle boss helps at times, but you don't have to get grips that have one built in. You can buy add on ones separately. That way you can get comfortable grips instead of something like the ISO grips that really suck.

I got a Throttle Rocker. Little piece of plastic that wraps around the end of the grip, has a "paddle" that you rest your palm on. Works like a charm and can be used on ANY grip.
