It's a totally individual thing, depending on how tall the rider is, how long his arms are, the seat being used, and where you like your hands to be when you ride. I put 12" monkey bars on my bike, I probably should have gone 14, but I'm really glad I didn't go 10.
I totally agree with the 14's as a great hand height for the average 5'- 10" biker. I was going with 12's but changed my mind after reading many threads on this forum. However the 10's look great on that King. Congrats!
