09 ultra saddle bag lid won't stay closed,have to lock it.have replaced springs

First of all, make sure you're getting the clips on the back side in correctly. Secondly, the clothe tether inside holding the lid on? Make sure it's not kinked and is tucked fulling inside the bag. That is most likely the culprit.
