Default 2009 Ultra Classic specs for displacement

I bought a 2009 Ultra Classic back in November and it has a boat load of add-ons. Among those it has the Vance-Hines exhaust, SE Pro Super Tuner and the SE Extreme Billet K&N Air Cleaner Kit. It was put on the dyno at the time of the SE Tuner install. I have no further info on the dyno results. Will these add-ons result in displacement being more than the stock 96cc? Did this add horsepower to the engine? I am very much the novice with the engine specs and understanding it. Thanks guys

No, you still have a 96. Probably a little boost in HP and/or torque.

the displacement is determined by the internal area of the cylinders.

the 96" motor has a bore of 3.75" and a stroke of 4.38"

the working area of the cyclinder can be made taller - "stroked" by changing the flywheel/piston.

or it can be "bored" by swapping to a wider cylinder ( and pistons to match) or by boring out the stock cylinders and using oversize pistons.

these are the 2 ways in which displacement can be increased.

for example, the first version of the twin cam motor was 88"

a bored version was the 95"

then the 88" was stroked and resulted in a 96"

and almost the same bore kit that resulted in the 95", if used on the 96" results in 103".

You most probably have a 96" motor- if you had a 103" kit there would likely be the addition of compression releases AND an oil cooler.

The mods you describe are commonly called a "stage 1" and usually will result in 7 to 10 added horsepower.

So you likely have about 74 HP.

Since the bike has the SE stuff it was more than likely installed by a dealer-- if they did the dyno tuning, they may have the info stored on a computer under the VIN number.
and even if the work was done at a dealer elsewhere, I bet your dealer might be able to get details via the vin number

Thanks guys, great info. I will check if dealer has dyno results. You are correct in that everything ever done to this bike was performed at the dealership in Lawton Ok.
