dental pick worked for me.

 

I bought an inexpensive terminal pick from NAPA. However I wasn't having much success untill I talked with the tech at the Harley shop. It's all about Technique. If you insert whatever tool (terminal pick, paper clip, safety pin, whatever) in just the right spot the terminal will come right out. The first terminal took me 15 minutes of prying and proding to finally get it out. Once I knew what to do it only takes a second or two to release a terminal.

 

So true. I was fiddling with one and cussing at it at first until I found the sweet spot for releasing it. Once I got the first one the rest were cake.
