If they are like the ones on my Sporty, the pins are pushed in from the rear of the plug and once they are seated they have a tab that springs out slightly to capture them in place. I was able to disassemble them by using a tiny screwdriver to push the tab back in while pulling gently on the wire.

Yes. It's simple once you get the 1st one and understand how it unlocks.

Just make sure you are putting the tool under the end of the wire. Too far or not in far enough and you won't disengage the lock.

Good luck. After alot of cussing and a few bloody fingertips I figured it out.

What do you mean put tool under wire? Don't you insert on the other end above the wire to try and hit the release

Yes. You put the tool in from the other end and lift up. The lock that holds the wire is right around the middle. Don't try too hard. Keep trying. You'll figure it out.

Do I need to push up with the tool very hard and will I hear a snap or anything when the release is raised?

Ok, I got all 4 out!!! Time for some beer! One problem though is that the 4th release broke so the wire will not lock back in. Where can I get another one?
