Hi all, Gonna make it to bike week for the first weekend of the rally, What should a first timer do,see Etc,. Does all the events Happen in Daytona or are they spread out? Thanks ahead for any and all info.

 

GO THE OTHER WAY!!! I hate crowds but that's just me. Don't care for those big rallies but will occasionally do smaller ones.

 

Just plan for any kind of weather...

Like any rally, you can get in the middle of it--- then find your way out to some nice riding.

Florida...no hills, no curves...but lots of people run down to the Keys.

I did it a few years in the 80's

I would say that Florida has some of the worst drivers in the USA- lots of tourists, not sure where they are going doing sudden turns or stops, maybe not sure of road laws and signals, old people etc. etc. keep your head on straight.

it is more than a simple run down to the keys...that would take your whole weekend right there. google daytona and bike week. plenty of good info. out there.
