Default Can one get 100hp from 204's in a 103

Right now I'm looking at 84 hp with 215 ccp and stock heads. If I send them off or get Fuel Moto B heads is 100 hp attainable?
Thanks

Simple reality related to horse power is that 2-2 exhausts leave approx 10 hp on the table. My 2010 street glide stage II 103 with no head work but using a D&D Boss Fatcat 2-1 with a big bore quiet baffle makes 92 hp and 106 tq. At the time my stage II work was done we talked about having Baisley do the heads as the stage II work was done at a shop near Portland Oregon near Baisley. The estimated performance bump from porting the heads and manifold was 6 hp and 6 tq and I decided the price per hp and tq didn't justify the effort. Three years later the bike runs really strong and has been very reliable.

Of course I also have an 06 street bob I ride that is 139.92 hp and 133.7 tq at the tire so I don't need the bagger to run harder than it does to pacify my desire for horsepower..

I talked with a head porter in WA state and he said to use different cams such as the t-man 555's. Here is what he said and I sort of agree after reading what you also chimed in with.

I am quite sure just adding ported heads to what you have now will be abit of a disappointment as the whole combination is not really working welltogether. The HP would rise probably 7hp but the torque down low will not.

Do not know about those cams alone but it is not much of a problem to get 1hp per cubic inch.

I don't know about the setup you are talking about, but with a stock 96 and a stage one, Doc got me 96hp. He said mine was in the top 5% but even so, it seems any boost above a stage 1 should get you there.

You don't have to get a "2 into 1 exhaust" but if you get rid of the "Rush True Duel exhaust" you will pick up between 5 to 9 hp in my experience (on a dyno).
Vance and Hines Power Duels or a Fullsac header both have done that for me over True Duels.

You have ample torque, horsepower is over rated unless you plan on going 120 mph every where you go and in that case you won't do that many times. Nothing against your skills but the variables are against you travelling that fast.

I'm going to jump start this thread. I don't think that the se204 in the 103 will achieve your goal. I also am of the opinion that true duals will cost some low end torque, but not hp which comes on at higher rpms. One thing that I don't understand is the 215 ccp. Is this not high? If you are going to invest in headwork, why not match the cam, breather and exhaust system to get the most out of the build?

That true dual 10 hp figure is definitely on the high side. It would probably be more in the range of 5-8 hp. Same for torque. I must be a total dolt because I don't know what 'ccp' is - I'm assuming it stands for cold cranking pressure?

Well if you look up "granny" in the dictionary there will be a picture of me next to it Mark.
