2011 Ultra Limited; OEM stereo and HD headsets; no other mods... headsets were working fine a few months ago (music and intercoms), started to go on a ride this past weekend plugged the headsets in, set the speaker switch and the music continued coming out of fairing speakers. Indicator light on switch turns on and off relative to switch position; dealer tech ran brief check on deck and said I had the latest updates and that deck was recoginzing switch position. Scheduled appt with service dept for next monday.
Interesting thing is that on the way home while listening to CD fairing speakers suddenly quit. Checked switch position and sure enough, tech had left switch in full up position (should be headsets only). I moved the switch back down, go tmusic back, then back to full up position and still had music coming from fairing speakers. A few blocks later, nothing.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this.... besides a short in the deck (bad juju), what else could I look for?
