I wouldn't take that to the end of my driveway and back. At least go to a Napa and get a frigging stud. Thats no doubt a butter bolt you put in there. If you can't judge how tight a bolt is you need to get a torque wrench. I wouldn't trust any of the other ones as you could easily have over torqued them and stretched the bolts. Just my opinion. Having a wheel come off on a bump at 60 will no doubt leave a mark.

Noted. As mentioned above, the intent is to put back in an OEM stud. If my wheel falls off before then, I'll let you know.

I updated the original post. I received the replacement studs in the mail and put them in. With my quick fix solution I put about 250 miles on without any issue.

Been there too. My service guy at the local dealer told me it's not a bad idea to replace the bolts every 2-3 times you take the front wheel off.

I've been there w/other vehicles & snapping things off...don't beat yourself up too bad. Pretty good McGruber job on the temp fix & glad to see you got the bike back to 100%. Ride on!
