PYO 12" Monkey Bars Vs. Stock FLHX Pullback
I have been searching and searching and cannot seem to find a clear cut answer to this question. Compared to the stock bars on a 2012 FLHX, how is the pullback on the PYO Monkey Bars. I am looking at ordering this setup off Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/400370008017 but want to make sure they are not going to have me sitting any further forward than the stock bars. This is a big purchase so I don't want to order them and then completely hate them because I am reaching. I am standing by for your comments....thanks in advance!

Cant speak for the yaffes, but My 13" bagger bars made to where I was not reaching for the bars like the stock ones. Apes are far more comfortable than the stock. You will love the feel. That set up is cool and all, but you can save at least $600 or $700 buying everything separate and doing the wires yourself. They are a PIA, but not too bad with patience

Thanks for the advice so far....I am looking now at doing it myself, I see that the hardest part is getting the wires through the handlebars, I think I can manage that. Now just need to figure out exactly everything I need to get. Bars, controls, +4 clutch cable, +4 brake line(will probably just replace them all with stainless), wire extension kit for TBW....anything I am missing?
Hadn't see that pic of my old Fatboy in a while....guess I should update my profile.

I just installed the Yaffe 12" classic bagger apes...here's a few pics...My hand position is pretty straight forward with a little pull back...What i did is when i had the bike apart i put the bars on and set them to where i felt the most comfortable and then reassembled everything around it.

I bought Harley # 32310-08 from a recommendation from wild1inc's site. It made running the throttle by wire so much easier since that part number doesn't have the big green plastic connector that goes in the bars. Another tip is lube the wires up with soap or something before pulling them through it makes a huge difference and they should go easy. Make sure not to use anything that will deteriorate the rubber coating.
