I understand the need for the increase distance for the pager but wouldn't the increase distance in the fob be a problem ?

I have the pager and siren also, and wonder how long your battery in your pager lasts. Mine doesn't last very long. It says in the manual that 45-50 is the life of it. This is really crappy IMO. Still loving the extra secutiry of this siren and pager combo though. Installed the siren on the wifes bike yesterday.

yup the battery doesn't last long on the pager, but i only turn on the pager if i know I'm going to be away from the bike out of sight. Mall, rally etc.

I guess if u used it every day 24/7 u'll be lucky to get 30 days.
