Default Thermometer useless

In Phoenix, my fairing thermometer reflects 80* when it's under 90 or 115* when it s hot like today at 106. Clearly useless. Suggestions on what to put in its place on my 06 SG?

Thumbs up

In 38 years of riding, I've observed the following:

If I'm sweating my *** off, it's really fu%^ing hot.....

If I'm freezing my *** off, like at the top of Vail pass in late September, it's really fu%^ing cold.....

If I'm neither freezing my *** off, nor sweating my *** off, and I'm in a t-shirt, it's a nice summer day.....

If I'm neither freezing my ***, nor sweating my *** off, and I'm in my leather jacket, it's a nice fall day.....

Yes, the air temp guage is absolutely fu%^ing useless.....

As the above poster stated, get the oil temp guage...... Now THAT'S some information I CAN USE!!!!!!!!!!

Fu%^ing Harley Davidson!!!!!!!!!!

its up around your steering neck on the left hand side, tucked up under the fairing (at least on my road glide).
