Okay, I gotta get some new tires for my 2011 RKC- rear stocker not going to make it safe on September trip to the Grand Canyon, front looks sorta weak too. So better to be safe, I am looking at the Metzler ME888 for front and rear. I have the FLHR/I cast rims for tubes tires.

i had shinko, and it was the best tire i ever had, super tire,i had just put 2 on a vulcan and they look great and are in expensive, really good tire, look into shiko 712, i got mine from bike bandit 60.00 to my door i think, i put it on and it balanced out great as well
they remind me of "good" dunlops

Thanks all- ordered a ME 888 for the rear from Jake Wilson, should have in a few days.
Hopefully the ME with be the ticket for a road trip to the Grand Canyon. OEM front still has some miles to go yet, but will get a ME 888 when the OEM is finished with its service life.
