Default Sundowner!!!!!!

Oh God..... Great and merciful, thank you for this weather and the road trip...... Thank you oh lord of the earth and engineers that invent things like touring bikes, and sundowner seats!

I'm now convinced that the greatest thing ever invented for a touring model is indeed the sundowner deep bucket seat......aside from having loud exhaust, and a bitchy passenger..... I now only have loud exhaust!

It's a reclining chair on 2 wheels....... Best purchase I've made since I bought the street glide!

Try the Hammock and that sundowner will be in the classified section, ask me how I know.
Glad you like it, mine was okay for about a year. But the wife didn't care for the back, she loves the hammock. If you decide to get another bitchy rider, you might want to look at a different seat?

Ill throw a pic up in a bit..... We had looked at the hammock seat, the sundowner was big, but the hammock looked like a fu@king road sofa! It was huge, but I can see the benefit..... Big girl, small girl.....NO GIRL, No matter, the sundowner is my new fav!

Not necessarily. Shorter guys 5-9 and less will sit up too high on hammock. Ask me how I know. That is unless you want to be an Asian sport bike tippy toe Joe. No offense intended. Ride behind them all the time. Lucky the bikes are 400 lbs.

I have a 2013 model...... Here's some before and after pictures of stock seat profile vs sundowner profile...... And at 12hdrk, I can see how short guys would have a problem! The seat will sit you about an inch closer to your bars, I'm 6' but the bucket portion of the seat cradles the rider, and what's her face has a wider pillion and more padding for her butt!

I switched to a sundowner in April. Very nice seat, reasonable price, good comfort = great seat.
