07 SG ?'s
I just sold my heritage and I'm fixing to buy a 07 SG
I'm already making plans on the upgrades!
14" wild ones
21" front wheel
4" bags
True duals.
I have a couple questions?
I know this isn't normal but... I like the stretched bags with the stock fender.
What brand will work with the stock fender ?
What brand is the best bang for the buck?
What is the best one stop shop to get bars, exhaust etc..?

FYI 2009 models introduced the new frame- the earlier models with old frame have lower value.
look for a 2009 if you can swing the cash.
I would suggest that once you have the new model that you get a few thousand miles on it while you consider your changes.
if you plan on staying close and low mileage rides alot of custom touches will be very cool.
If you plan on any distance riding, those changes may not be as comfortable

The lower value is why I can afford the 07 lol
Yeah I know all about sacrificing comfort I did the so-cal look on my heritage.
The way my life is I don't get to go on long trips just day rides.
So I THINK il be ok with the comfort level.
Thanks

Not sure who's bags would have the best look for you, but I like Sinister Industries bags, they are well made.

As for '07 vs '09.. I own both an '07 and a '12.. The newer bike is hands down, night and day, better. If you just want a cool scoot for around town the '07 will get it done. If you really want to throw down some long mile days, the newer bike will slaughter the older model.
I am 6'4" and love my 13" apes.
