Road King Exhaust
Forgive my ignorance, I'm pretty new to the riding world. I'm looking at a 2010 Road King and it has the stock exhaust. I want something loud and obnoxious, but have no idea what to look at. I wouldn't be opposed to something with removable baffles. Something loud around town then maybe a little quieter on longer rides. Thanks for you input.

the header has a catalytic convertor in it, so you would need to remove the cat or replace the headers ( be aware that you are now tampering).
there are all kinds of pipes available and all the H-D touring models can use same type pipes ( they all have the same frame, the difference is in the amount of plastic hanging on the frame...and some badges and speakers).
you may do well with a supertrapp 4" tunable pipe with the disc system, these can be about as loud or as quiet as the rider wants- in minutes.
harley sells supertrapp made mufflers, "Nightstick" and "Fatshots" which can be tuned like any supertrapp once the tamper screw is removed

Or try D&D Borzilla, I've never heard that one in person, but comments here indicate it is loud.[/QUOTE]
The Borzilla maybe to much pipe for a stock bike but D&D makes the Fatcat and it is available with different baffles. The performance baffle is loud and mean sounding. There are plenty of choices just go to a bike night or a dealership on Saturday. Listen for the sound you like then ask the owner about his pipes. most of us love to talk about our bikes.
