Yes, we did have a problem with a Chrome Vendor which is what put us behind. We have been using a different vendor for the past 5 months and have not experienced any problems.

Looks like the issues are gone.

 

Whats the cheapest place to find the CFR mufflers?

 

There are several vendors, but directcycleparts.com has them at a reasonable price with free shipping. They have none in stock but you can get on the waiting list as I have done. Just check out using the "check or money order" payment method. That way you pay nothing yet complete the transaction and get on the official list. I received a call from Frank the day after I ordered them. Frank apologized that they were not in stock and asked me not to send any payment at this time. He said I would be contacted when they are available...then I will paypal them and get them on their way. I also received email notifications from dcp confirming the order. So I'll be on stand-by for a bit...waiting.

 

I have Vance & Hines High Outputs with a chroming issue within 2 years. It's not noticeable, fortunately. It's right at the end of the left pipe. at the bottom. Chrome is peeled right off for about 2 inches. I might look into CFRs or maybe Rush Big Louie slash-ups to match the bags.
