Default Looking for Deep and Loud pipes

I have a 2012 Softail Deluxe with Vance and Hines True Duals. They sound alright but not great. I want a deeper and louder tone. What other pipes sound great with my 103ci engine?
Any suggestions would be great!

So many posts on this...

I think one of the most popular is Rinehart. Seems most people like these. I have heard them and they do sound pretty good; should sound really good with your 103.

Here's a thread...

Thanks Road Star, that thread talks about headers and slip-ons. I have the whole True Dual kit, can I add Rinehart slip-ons to the True Dual kit?

I linked that thread because it has responses regarding Rinehart and how much some people like them.
I would think you could add the Rineharts to your headers. Best to do some research. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

2 into 1 bassani road rage is loud under load but at idle is very mellow at idle. Loved it on my Softail. Upgraded to bagger with rineharts not loud enough for me either.

I too wanted a deep base tone. I went to many events, and dealers and just sat out and listened to many. I found the Rush 2" (do not go to 1.75 if you want base) to be a good balance on base and loudness. Not sure how they will sound on the V&H I just put the slip-ons on the stock header.

I installed Rush 1.75" slip-ons on both of my FLSTCs (stock headers), and the sound is much more "Harley-like", although not very "bass-ey"., louder, but not obnoxious loud. Also noted a fair amount of decel popping, but not excessive. Highly recommended, and the price is right.

The Rush 2 into 1 pipes are deep. I had a D&D 2-1 on my 103 and it was loud but had a tinny sound, put on a Rush 2-1 and it is much deeper. The Rush is quieter at idle than the D&D, both are about the same in volume when you twist throttle. As I stated before the Rush is very deep. My bike is not stock though...10.5:1 compression, T-man cams and headwork. Not sure if it would sound as deep on a stock 103 but it is deeper than the D&D

I LOVE the Rush 2:1 pipes.....also think they're the best looking ones on the market. I have the 2" baffles installed, and I agree with the others that they have a very nice bass rumble to them on the 96" engine.
