Monster Ovals & Power Duels Question

I run Monster Ovals and True Duals on my '03 EGlide and Monster Rounds and Power Duals on my '13 Limited. The True duals are louder with dedicated head pipes where the stock and Power Duals come together before splitting to the muffler. I believe ther is some sound cancelling with the cross over however, the Power Duals will talk to you if you roll on the throttle.
True Duals = Potato Potato - more pronounced cylinder firing
PowerDuals or Cat = tato tato - smoother softer cylinder firing

I have a slightly diff setup...had V&H twin slash cut slip ons and stock headers...then added the V&H Dresser Duals a few weeks later. I gotta say...I noticed a diff in sound when I "got on it" ....and I also noticed the best sound ever..between shifts. It didn't get alot louder (like abnoxious).....but if you want to be heard, twist the throttle and it will be. Otherwise, very mellow sound at idle and at cruise.

My Riding Pal has the PD's and M/O's. 2011 FLHTK 103"
1.) can't use his radio
2.) tinny sound projects straight out the rear.
I usually lead, if he leads i drop waaaay back. I don't wanna listen to that all day.
3.) the PD's may scrape hard on right turns if the bike is lowered.
you'd do well to go to a bike event and hear for yourself, It is a fairly common combo.
The PD's are easily spotted due to the big X cover on the rt side
