For those with Air Shocks what's your PSI Setting?
"Hopefully" I will be picking up my 2014 Street Glide on Monday. I'm going from a Dyna (which I though rode better than any other bike I've rode) spring shocks to the 2014 Street Glide with Air Shocks. The dealer told me to keep the shocks at around 30 PSI. I just got done reading the owners manual and the PSI number for single rider weighting what I weigh (180) suggest 0-10 PSI. Since the dealer said 30 PSI I'm a little confused. Below is what the manual suggests.
up to 150 lb - 0 PSI
150-200 lb - 0-10 PSI
200-250 lb - 10-20 PSI
250-300 lb - 20-30 PSI
300 lb - 30-50 PSI
** Do not exceed 50 PSI
up to 150 lb - 0 PSI
150-200 lb - 0-10 PSI
200-250 lb - 10-20 PSI
250-300 lb - 20-30 PSI
300 lb - 30-50 PSI
** Do not exceed 50 PSI

That is too high.
Experiment, find what works for you.
At 220, I ride solo @10, two up @25-30.
On my bike, 30 would ride solo like a hard tail.
Find the sweet spot where you have some give, but don't bottom out.
Many will dog out the stock shocks - at least give them a fair shot at different psi.
I know a guy around 170 that rides his @0, only way he gets some "give" out of 'em.

It's very subjective...
Like was stated above, find what works best for you and your riding style and he roads you travel most.
I ride about 75/25 2up/solo on our Ultra, and find that 40psi is the sweet spot.
When you pick up your new bike, either make them throw in a pump, or go ahead and buy it while you are there. The Harley pump is the easiest I've found for adjusting the VERY Low Volume system on the standard air ride.

I weigh 170 and I like to keep mine at 12 I am about done with the air shocks because I really dislike checking the air in them. 10 psi and under will start to bottom and is too soft 15 psi and over solo is too stiff. I have come up with those numbers after 4 yrs on street glide air shocks.

Thank all of you so much for your input! This explains exactly why I asked. I went ahead and purchased the Harley Pump and will probably start around 15 and see what happens. In the beginning I thought these shocks seemed kinda neat that you can adjust, etc but the more I listen to all of you it seems like it can become a little bit of a hassle. One more question.....does the PSI stay true for a while or do I need to check it every so often b/c it slowly goes down?

You will be checking it... It will let you know when its low PSI you will get to know the bike I can tell between 8 PSI and 12 PSI
