Yup.

And still have an older bike.

Nothing wrong with an older bike, but, take an '09 FLHTCU, worth what? $17,000 average?
Put 5 or 6 thousand into it, still have a small tourpak, small bags, small forks, but a helluva engine, pretty paint, whatever you want to put in it...

Know what it's worth now? The same 17k.... maybe, MAYBE a bit more.

Go buy a new one, and have all that stuff, and you're going to lose value the moment you sign the paper.

Ride what you likek but if you don't want to spend the dough.....

DO NOT test ride a '14.

I will pick up my silver Road King with the spoke rims and big whitewalls tomorrow. It is the most improved HD ever. Could not pass it up.

The linked brakes, new triple trees and stiffer forks along with the headlight and high output 103 made it much more advanced and something not to pass on. Icing on the cake was the saddle bags with larger capacity and improved latching system.

It reminds me of something I heard before... For those of us who own A 14, no explanation of how or why its better is necessary. For those who don't own one or haven't ridden one, no explanation is possible. I came off a 12 Limited. This 14 just rides better , handles better, holds more stuff, has more stuff on it and pulls stronger and runs cooler.

As Chip says, if you don't want one.....don't test drive one

I am a Road King kind of guy, but there is a 2014 black Limited at the dealer I can't get out of my head! Those things are nice.

I bought an 2013 Anniversary FLHTK last November. Have it moded just the way I want it. Including upgraded front/rear suspension, and LED lights all the way around. I really like the 2014 FLHTK, but not in the near future. The 2014 bikes ar3 appealing because alot of things I changed are now stock.

I didn't pay anywhere near that price. I have heard of them selling for that price but I would never be that guy.

The linked brakes alone were enough for me to want the 14 but yea all of the above and then some!

I finally have a sled that has all the bells and whistles I love along with stellar handling and great brakes now I can pour an obscene amount of money into it

Now the green CVO King they had is another story. I saw the blue and red ones last year, and now this green monster. Damn, them are some sharp looking rides, but then you lift the tag and see $29,XXX and that keeps me going by to the door.
another "I didn't buy a 2014" thread.

I know me well enough to not even set on it. You have the exact creature I looked at, and it is a damn sharp scoot. But the 29K turned me of, really quick and hard.
It does bother me to think I have 28 into my 2012 Classic, and it is lacking some of the items the CVO has, all though I have things they don't. I love mine the way I have it and am not going to budge for another few years. Then will see what the CVO's have to offer. As someone upstream posted, it would be my last new bike. Tiz good to go out with a bang...............
