I dunno, I have an ancient 2000 road king that i'm attached to and I love that thing. I test rode a 14 road king and a 14 ultra limited. they're very nice, but for me... to nice. I like my old bike. took me a really long time, and a garage fire to get past the old shovelhead. fas as i'm concerned, buy and ride what ya like, it aint anybody else's' business anyway. When someone tells me the 14's are better, I say great, go get yourself one then.

Just picked up the 14 Road King in silver. It really stands out against the 07,08,09,10,11,12 and 13 bikes in the garage. That was at least until I turned the garage lights off.
