My 07 Electra Glide Classic was $450.00 for freight and setup. Then I purchased $1000.00 in accessories and spent another $325.00 labor for the dealer to install them. Price was $18,585.00 - Pewter FLHTC.

Nope, not good. I bought mine 1 month ago. Street Glide in black pearl, laced wheels, High flow A/C, Rush mufflers, Detach backrest and pad, SERT, Kuryakyn Iso grips W/throttle boss. Out the door was 19992.00

i also paid in cash. checked out four dealers. i found that the dealers with the higher prices were offering more in discounted parts/labor. the dealer i went with didn't offer much as far as discount parts, but they were about 600.00 less than the other three. my total was around 20,400.00. they did send me a coupon for a free t-shirt. generous, huh? good luck!

man! some of you are getting a good deal! i bought mine in June of 06. last one on the showroom floor and they weren't getting any more until the 07's came out. i didn't have much room to negotiate. when i showed up with cash in hand, another guy was sitting on my bike talking to the dealer..... i walked right up to the salesman and whipped out 20k in cash.....he said SOLD!

Sometimes having cash and walking out the door Isn't the answer. I had cash and was told by Mike's Famous in New Castle DL. If you don't want it 10 min from now someone will walk in the door that does. This was on a 07 Ultra that was at full list. I took the deal somewhere else and got a better deal. I don't recommend anyone buying anything there.

Anyone near Southern Virginia I cannot recommend Hampton Roads HD enough. As a forst time HD buyer, I expected to be played somewhat. I couldn't have been more surprised. The salesman spent a lot of time with me on 3 different times knowing I was not buying that day. He held 2 different bikes for me without any paperwork or deposit. When I was ready to buy, I got what I onsidered to be a fair price for my 05 RK custom. It included 2 new helmets of my choice,1 yearextended warranty, Stage 1, SERT, Rineharts and a TON of chrome PLUS a new windshield, leather WS bag, rear back rest and some other stuff PLUS 20% off whatever I bought that day, clothes, parts, chrome whatever. I bought a lot of stuff.I was treated like I was a regular from the first time I walked in the door and I have talked to many others who have told me the same thing. BTW, I paid 16700 out the door with an extended warranty. Bike has 6K miles on it when I bought it. We regularly have 500 members at the monthly HOG chapter meetings.

They're going to get you coming and going so you might as well bargain for discounts on accessories and riding gear. Good luck.

Try Ocala Harley. I thought I saw "$1,000 below MSRP till end of March" Gainesville Harley has MSRP with no freight or dealer fees.
