Bike stand
Depends on what your doing. I always strap mine down on the lift or in the trailer obviously.
It won't fall to the side without help, it would have to be pushed.
On the garage floor, if I'm just cleaning or even changing oil I don't strap, but if I'm wrenching and am gonna apply much torque to anything I strap.
Someone did send me a pm about trouble with a wheel chock, he had a narrow tire something and there wasn't enough support for the tire and the bike wanted to lay down.

I have a HF chock on my HF table and on my trailer. Both work great. Depending upon the front tire size, you don't necessarily need to tie the bike down, but I don't depend on that, I tie them down, and have modified some tie downs to enable the job to get quickly done. No need to spend more money on a chock, in my opinion.
I have the condor on my table lift and can move it to my rescue trailer if I have to very easily.

I also have the Harbor Freight chock linked in the above post. My bike rests in that on a daily basis. Allows me to park the bike and get a vehicle in the garage on both sides of it.
Honestly the Harbor Freight chock works every bit as well as the Condor for a whole lot less money. The Condor is a high quality, extremely well made, American made product.

Now thats a little bit of AWESOME! i too are interested in these extensions!
Here are the extensions that I built. I use a piece of scrap metal, actually an old pool fence, to build the frame and slapped a couple pieces of diamond plate. I like the wood idea I just happened to have all the scrap metal needed laying around the house.
I chose not to attach them to the lift so I could move them out of the way when working.

Those extensions look GR8! colour matched to boot, nice work!
I guess once you elevate the bike you can get in closer to work. very slick!
