Custom Dynamics LED Signals
#14
Related question: I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a set of Dynamic Ringz in the front, and I'm going to go with a clear lens so the white shows through better, and I'm also going to go with the LED rear turn signals. The question is--for the rear, should I also go with a clear lens, or stick with a red lens? Which one will increase visibility the most? And if the consensus is "stick with the red," are the stock red lenses OK, or would I need the CD ones? TIA...

Taranwanderer: Sorry for the delay. Any lens color you choose for the rear will be fine. If you go with clear, they will light up red because of the LEDs themselves. The only difference is the appearance when you are off the bike and it is parked. I went with red lenses for the back for the sigs and tail lens. Technically, the clear lenses would be brighter because you aren't filtering the light with a color like amber or red. Make sense? That being said, the red lenses with red lights are extremely bright...even in direct sunlight so do not worry if that is the way you want to go. Trust me...no one will miss you unless they are looking at their cell phone.

i put a set of smoke lenses on and red bulbs in the rear of my bike. looked 10x better than the stock red lenses. seemed to loose some brightness with that combo. i just pulled the trigger on a set of rear CD leds. WOW. i dont know why i waited. pure awesomeness. i mean, yup, saftey first!
