Default 2014 dash insert question

There is nothing wrong per say with the factory insert, but it is kind of bland, and I already know it's a Street Glide. I was looking at the one listed below to pay a little homage to those that have, and those that are currently fighting for our freedom.

My question is...the factory one looks like it is just on with adhesive, am I correct? It's too cold out and I'd rather not pry on it without knowing. For anyone that has replaced one, was the old hair drier and adhesive remover trick enough if it was stuck on? Some of the older models look like they were actually screwed on from underneath. Thanks

My flht came off easy with heat and steady pressure, take off the whole console and bring it in the house.

I have a 2014 street glide and I traded in my 2012 that had the skull dash insert and wanted to put same on my 14 but they don't fit make sure what you buy is made for a 14 street glide so far I haven't seen any yet.
The dealer told me the dash on the 14 looks the same as older street glides but insert is not the same size, wait a while they will be available soon.

And they just stick on with adhesive use a hair dryer to heat up comes off easy!

Insert is the same from 08 up. I put new one in my 14 after powder coating. They tear up bending etc when taking them off. Don't seem easy to salvage.

Thought the same thing about my insert, but wanted something that was more personal than one of the regular replacements. Added a challenge coin and holder to the top and a small badge to the bottom. It is a 14 FLHX Firefighter edition.
