Default CVO Ultra ignition switch removal help

Im trying to remove my ignition switch do work on my front forks and have come across an issue. I looked at my service manual and it gave decent directions. My detent switch is on the opposite side as described in the manual. After some fiddling I got it loose, however, there is wires in my ****. Anyone know how to get the wires loose? I tried putting the switch back in and it wont line up, no matter how I turn the key or the switch itself. The forks are locked. I looked up the Utube video and it does not have my problem in it. Any help would be appreciated.

It is on a 13 CVO Ultra Classic.

Thanks,
Brian

I was able to get the switch back in and functioning but have not got a clue as to how to remove the wires that are in there to remove the switch and move on with my project. The wires in the picture are for the remote lock system. If they weren't there, the switch would come right out. The service manual never mentions these wires, nor any other place I can find info on this.

You need an additional manual for the CVO

Thanks, I will give that a try. You wouldn't happen to have that portion on digits would you? When I try to save the pics to my computer it blurs them too much to read.

got everything out. Thanks a bunch. Never would have figured that out without the additional manual pics. I guess I don't have all the CVO manuals.
