Default Which siren?

Decided to hit online sites to score a factory smart siren. They are bunches out there with slightly different part numbers, BUT they all look alike. I know some would have brackets for a specific bike, so is the actual box the same?

have you looked into the $6 radio shack peizo many of us use?

otherwise if stuck wanting to use H-D stuff, you can "shop by model" on the H-D website

I broke down and paid HD for the factory siren and it was very easy to install, works perfect, and gives you the option to buy the pager that will let you know if the alarm is triggered if your inside and can not hear the siren. A little pricey but still under $100, I felt it was worth it.

it looks like the same number on the HD web site fits so many bikes it seems universal. Three wires. I am guessing ground, hot and hot to activate

What bike and year are u installing this on? And yes they are universal. If u have a 2002 and later bike this is what u need. And the siren is plug and play.

Ordered the siren and the remote pager from Kutter HD, somewhere around $135-$140 delivered to my door...

I don't know what bike you're installing it on but Harley's unit was plug and play for both of my late model Harley's and because of that I have no idea how the wiring works.

The Radio Shack unit works great and at under $10 is an excellent value.

If I have the factory system which self arms and flashes the blinkers when disturbed are you saying I could add a radio shack siren to this? Plug n play?

Yep. Here's a link from this board with photos. My installation wasn't this fancy...I just shoved the wires into the correct holes and it's been good since March. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...-2011-rgc.html
