Just picked up a stock 2006 electra glide please help with some mods
So here it is, stock electra glide. i just ordered a le pera bare bones solo seat
1.what is the cheapest drop option? i dont care about best riding.
2. what do you guys suggest for other options.( i hate chrome)
3. i dont care about the exhaust,i just came from big shot longs without baffles on a 08 fatboy....my ears are still ringing.
4. maybe thinking about audio upgrades. ill keep search the forum....

It all depends on what your after as far as mods. If you want to drop the rear on the cheap, take a look at LA Choppers lowering blocks, the drop the shock straight down and keeps the shock travel the same. The other cheaper versions angle the shock back to lower it.. By changing the angle of the shocks the ride will change.
My top "makes sense" mods have been the 10" Windsplitter shield, my road zeppelin seat pad, the thumb throttle lock that mounts to the star shaped bolt, and the little gizmo that line the tourpak lid so it closes easily every time.
I have done lots of stuff to my bike, but it's the little convenience things that make a big difference.
On the mods that really serve no purpose, I would have to say painting my inner fairing gave my bike the biggest pop.
