I went on-line and bought two high quality, flat top sheet, flannel, California King size bed sheets. They don't trap moisture, are extremely soft and cover the entire bike from top to floor so when I periodically sweep my garage no dust can get under and onto the bike like I've seen with regular bike covers. Plus the fact that bike covers fit too tightly and can scratch if you are not careful.

+1 NO cover on fresh paint![unless you don't like the paint job.And I've painted cars for a living for 40 years.

Old tube socks pulled over the ends of your pipes could help keep unwanted "Visitors" out of there, yet still "Breathable".

Exactly! All ya need is the dust kept off...these work great, don't scratch anything, easy on, easy off...just make sure ya wash them if you buy new, if you're putting on used ones, no biggie...
