Spent the last two weeks touring Colorado roads. I've done this for the last 8 years. This year I rode Loveland Pass for the first time. Absolutely a fantastic ride. Lots of snow. People are still snowboarding and skiing. If you get out that way check it out.

 

We rode through there last year in late July. Really nice scenery just to many semis. Enjoyed the ride from Nor Cal through Neveda to Loveland.

Like you, I get out to Colorado every year, either to roam the hundreds of scenic roads, or use it as a jumping off point to other mountain states. Been going out there pretty much every year for the last 20.

I've been looking at the map for a couple weeks, there are either 33 or 34 paved high mountain passes in the state. I've figured out a route with obviously many retracing of steps and detours to hit every one of them in a 9-10 day trip.

My riding Bud and I are gonna' hit it in September.
