I had Howard build me a custom set of Ohlins #6 shocks , they come 13 1/4" long with a 93mm stoke , I wanted them shorter , they came out after his build 12.323" long with 85.5mm stroke , I set the sag at 1 1/8", the rebound at 14 clicks , the compression at 14 clicks. After my initial 200 mile ride I can truly say that these shocks along with the 30mm Ohlins fork cartridges Howard built for me have probably given me the best handling bagger on the planet. These are amazing. I can't wait to get them broken in so I can start fine tune adjusting them and see how much better they can be. Here is a picture of the shocks and the top of my Ohlins forks with compression and rebound adjustment too.
You are lucky to be so close to Howard and would agree that you have the best handling bagger on the road. I recently wrote a review on the Ohlins HD 159 shocks and their new FKC 101 fork cartridges I had added to my 2010 Ultra by my local Indy here in CA. I was ready to trade it in for a 2014 Rushmore bike but now mine handles as good if not better.
I am so friggin jealous... I want that identical setup on my limited but the adult in me says I can't afford it. My other obsession is snowmobiling and it hits our wallets to the tune of $5,000 per season.

If you passed by for just one season you could do some serious improvements to your dresser!

I've said that to the wife more than once and she laughs. She knows how much I love winter and the snow. It's easy for me to think it now but once there is a foot or more snow in Jackman Maine I start to twitch. The $5000 doesn't count the cost of two sleds which usually comes in around $20,000.
So, if I did understand well you have 2014 fork tubes, sliders and 30mm. Öhlins fork cartridges but what are the tripple threes?
Did the billet aluminium threes are from Öhlins also, or M.M. build?
Thank you and congrats for these Top of the Top combos!!!

I'm using Howard's kit up front , his triple trees , 2014 fork tubes and sliders Howard machines to work with a set of Ohlins 30mm cartridges Howard builds with his changes , if you have a 2014 the change over isn't bad , on 2013 and older the cost add up but are worth it in my opinion , the #6 shocks I wish I would have started with them first , they are that much better over my previous ones I've tried , this suspension will go with me from bike to bike for now on , I'm done buying suspension
