Default How much oil if you have air cleaner oil leak?

I have had a Heavy Breather intake on for about 2500k and it is now leaking a bit. Last time I changed oil I put in 3qts. and left it at that. Anyone else with he same problem care to chime in as to how much oil they are running in the motor so this doesn't happen (but are still at a safe level).......thanks!

You will find that most put in 3.5 quarts with oil and filter change and this holds true for all year bikes. I fill the new oil filter then let it sit before install. the filter will soak up most of the oil so no I do not make any more of a mess this way than normal.

I put in 3qts, fire it up let it build some pressure and a little heat. Shut her down, then add to the middle of the stick.

I use 3qts then I I fill the filter seems to work for me. 3.5 plus the filter was to much. Then I had oil comming out the air filter.

I have a carbed bike. When I changed the oil filter to a K&N and removed the football air cover I started to get an oil leak. It was leaking for a few months till I rejetted the bike. It went away after that for me. I use 3 1/2 quarts total when I change the oil.
